Personal Information: If you create a Momeria profile, we may request specific personal information (the “Personal Information”) for the profile, including details like your name, email address, and geographic location. When you sign up to use tools provided through the Service, which may include information sharing, account closures, obituary creation and placement, we will seek your name, address, date of birth, phone number, email address, location, and pertinent account details. If you register to use tools associated with managing your health information, like creating, sharing, or accessing advance directives, we may require information about your healthcare and medical history, which you provide directly to us (“Health Information”). When you contact Momeria through the Site, including via our digital concierge service enabling direct chat with a Momeria representative or other interactive tools on the Site, we will request your first and last name and email address. If you opt to receive communications from us via SMS, we will need your phone number. If you share additional personal information with us, we may store that Personal Information.

Web Tracking Information: We, along with third-party service providers we engage to offer services to us (“Contractors”), may utilize web tracking technologies such as cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and clear GIFs to operate the Service efficiently and gather data pertaining to Service usage. This collected data (“Web Tracking Information”) may encompass the websites you visited before and after visiting the Momeria Site, your browser type, your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the Service pages you visit, the links you click on, and whether you opened email communications we send to you. All users receive administrative emails, and you cannot opt out of them while you remain an active user of the Service.

We are not responsible for the actions of hackers and other unauthorized third parties who breach our firewalls, secure server software, and other reasonable security procedures. California Online Privacy Protection Act Notice

On September 27, 2013, California enacted A.B. 370, amending the California Online Privacy Protection Act to require website operators like us to disclose how we respond to “Do Not Track Signals”; and whether third parties collect personally identifiable information about users when they visit us.
